Details

For example the following is only available to an AHS grad: (J.R. Arnold High School) - Taylor O'Hare Smith Memorial Scholarship:  Selection will be made by a member of the Smith family with assistance from the Gulf Coast State College Foundation. Qualified applicants only have to complete the Foundation’s general scholarship application in order to be considered. Preference will be given to seniors graduating from J.R. Arnold High School. Award amounts are determined by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

This one is available to any Bay County Senior: (All High Schools) - Optimist Club of the Beaches Scholarships: Sponsored by the Optimist Club of the Beaches. Qualified applicants must  complete the Donor’s application to be considered. An application can be found by going to www.gcscfoundation.org/scholarships/scholarshiplist/.  Award amounts are determined by the Foundation Board of Directors.

This one is separate from GCSC and can be used at any institution of higher learning.  If your parent or guardian is a member of the Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative, I have scholarship apps at the Collegiate Studies desk!  Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for high school seniors in its service area: the chance to win one of 10 $1,000 scholarships! High school seniors graduating at the end of the 2020-2021 school year (including homeschooled students) whose parent(s) or guardian(s) are members of GCEC and who are attending a college, university or technical school for the Fall 2021 semester are eligible to apply. All students who apply and meet the qualifications will be assigned a number. The numbers will be entered into a random number generator. Ten student numbers will be randomly selected to win the scholarships.
